My Silence Will Not Protect Me

The throat chakra is home to our communication—both speaking and listening—as well as self-expression. When this is blocked we may find it hard to speak our truths, often out of fear. Many times we don’t even realize what our truths are.

When I met photographer MiKed, I shared my personal journey towards unblocking my throat chakra. He then created these photos of me based on his interpretation of my story, thus helping me say things I lacked words to describe. You can find a relating story on Medium.
